Having an active lifestyle is highly advised, because we will be healthier. Active people tend to have improved mood. They have higher sense of wellbeing, calmer mind and reduced stress. You should incorporate physical activities in all parts of our lives, so we will feel better. We will have stronger muscle strength and better performing cardiovascular systems. Our body will have better balance and flexibility. There are internal reasons why we tend to have passive lifestyle, such as unrealistic goals, discomfort, feeling too weak to get started, doing too quickly and too much. They also don’t make physical exercise an important priority in life and in fact, exercise can be viewed as a type of drudgery and they start making all kinds of excuses.

They need to apply proper strategies that can get us started. In general, we should always try to get our body in motion. As an example, you could stretch your body for a few minutes when your have the opportunity. If you are not in a hurry, you use the stair instead of taking the elevator. By doing this each day, you will burn a lot of calories in a month, resulting in more controlled weight and better overall stamina. You won’t get out of breath easily when doing many tasks. In the office, you should take a break every 60 minutes by standing up and stretching all parts of your body, including neck, arms and legs.

Many people tend to use email or instant messaging when contacting co-workers. If you are not in a hurry and have a bit of time to spare, it is a good idea to visit your co-worker instead. It is possible that you will be able to talk a lot more and this is something that can improve your social life as well. If you want to do physical activities, it is a good thing if you are able to break them into smaller chunks that are more manageable. This will ensure that you can stay consistent with your daily activities. As an example, there’s a possibility that you can only spare 15 minutes of exercise during the morning and another 15 minutes after you get back home. Any small, positive change should add up and make you become more active individuals.
